Look at the ideas of cloning and such.  I can imagine the first human to be cloned to be the picture of a guy really high on PCP.  All really scary thoughts to me. What my Rabbi meant by living each week like it were his last is he builds his week around his highest priorities.  For example he spends quality time with each one of his family members, says nice things to others, does kind deeds etc.  If we feel like we have all the time in the world we may not make that extra phone call or say/do that nice thing.
